(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) ASHBURTOX, Friday. The Mid-Canterbury executive of the Farmers' Union, discussing a proposal by Mr. T. D. Burnett, M.P., for the importation of Australian oats for stock feed, resolved to ask the Government to make a survey of stocks of feed in the Dominion before allowing importation, and to grant concessions on the railage of stock to areas where feed was available, or of t"e°d to districts where there was a scat city.
