SHARP CLASHES.
Actions On Western Front Reported. TROOPS EXCHANGE QUIPS. British Official Wireless. (Received 2 p.m.) Rt'ORY, April 15. A French official evening communique reports sharp local ensiigements, one east of the Moselle and another at the frontier of the Palatinate, between enemy detachment and two French reconnaissance parties. "The Times" Paris correspondent says Poihis provided an answer to the Germans' persistent placarding of No Man's Land with "Where are the British troops on the Mnginot Line?" They displayed large posters, with "At Narvik," says a cable message.
