NOT AT WAR.
One reads in the new from Berlin that Germany is neither jure or de facto*' at war with Norway. Jnst one of Hitler's peaceful gestures, of course. One can imagine Adolf pacing a room in his monntain fastness declaring to his faithful henchmen: "I fall to understand these stupid Norse; Wo caUed oil them in peace, of coui**The Danes, they boMor understand My tosrure of rho 'Helping Hand.' TV facto or do juro." of contvo. Wo'ro not at war with aat Ni~*rse. Had I withhold my sarins hand Tlio Allies would have jrrabhod thoir land. So ienomnt thev. of German 'kultur.' They think onr oaslo—jufn a vujrnre."" And so the bird js scavenging for *11 the world to see. Readinjr this rhyme over. I tender apologies from a fellow scribe to Adolf, who. with all his fault* of commission, could hardly have been guilty. ' JW.W.
