WIDER PUBLICITY.
AMENITIES IN CITY. Stating that it was desired to give wider publicity to the various parks, swimming baths, libraries and sports facilities available for the public, a letter was received at a meeting of the Auckland Transport Board from! the City Council seeking permission toj erect permanent notices in all tram and bus shelters in the metropolitan area. The request was referred to the engineer-manager, Mr. A. E. Ford, with power to act.
