CABBAGE IS PLENTIFUL GOOD SALE FOR KUMARA. GRAPE SUPPLIES DECLIXE. Cabbage was in very heavy supply at the Auckland auction markets to-dav, and sold at low rates. Cauliflower was in good supply, choice lines selling well. Good qualities of knniara were available, realising late prices. Fair supplies of peas brought high prie&«, while values for the •best lines of beans were also high The market is still fairly heavily supplied with tomatoes, and prices on rhe average were low. There are rwjw no pears on the market. The quantity of To Kauwhaita grapes is declining, and values to-day were firm. Inquiry for the hothouse variety was only fair. Prices were: — Fruit. The prices paid were a shade higher all round. Selling rates were as follow: — Cocikerels: Heavy breeds, prime, 5/ to 7/ each; not prime, 2/ to 3/; light breeds, prime, 2/ to 3/; not prime. 1/6 to 2/6. Fat ihens: Heavy breeds, 2 6 to 3/ each: light .breeds, 2/ to 3/. Drakes: Young! ■prime, 3/ to 3/6 each; smaller, 2/ up Ducks: Yoaing, 5/ to 8/ each; old, 3/ to 5/. Butter, Eggs, Flowers. Eggs.—(Hen: First grade, 29 % per dozen; B grade, 2/7%; C grade, 2/1%. Duck: First grade. 2/7% per dozen; B grade, 2'5%: C grade. 2/1%. Farmers' Butter.—l 3 to 1/4% per lb. Cut I*lowers.—'l 'here was a poor demand to-day for flowers, only a few scarce, special lines realising fair values.
