CROQUET FINALS.
MRS. BURRETT WINS CHAMPIONSHIP. The final games in the Auckland Croquet Association's champion of champions event and the Xew Zealand Council's buttons competitions were played at the United lawns yesterday. Play was of a very high standard. Mrs, A. H. Keesing presented the trophies and congratulated the winners. Results of the competitions:— Champion of Champions and A Button. — Mm. Burrett (Carlton) ; runner-up, Mrs. A. E. N. Smith (Mount Eden). B Button. —'Mrs. Herd (Hillsboro). C Button. —Mrs. Dearlove (Auckland). Inter-club trophies won during the season presented:— AA Shield. —Carlton Club. A Shield.—Mont le Grand Club. B Shield.—Waitemata Club. C Banner. —Haliy burton-Johns tone Club.
