WARDVUXE CLUB.
The Wardvllle Cricket Club has won tt* championehiD of the South Piako Oieket Association for the 1930-40 season. The ■team played seven matches, three of which were won outright and three on the ftrat innings. The only loss was one on the first innings. The team was, however, beaten in the Bowler Shield knock-out competition l>y Gordon, % the margin being 18 runs.
