Officers And Men Of H.M.S. Cossack Decorated. WORK IN ALTMARCK RESCUE. (Receired 1.30 p.m.) IvOXDOX, April 12. H.M.S. Cossack's famous rescue of Bntish prisoners from the "hell ship" Altmarck is recalled by a "London Gazette announeenu-nt that Captain lan and Lieutenant-Commander Talbot - Turner have been awarded the D.S.O. and ten other officers and ratings decorated and four mentioned Tn dispatches. "Captain Vian," it is slated, "displayed daring leadership and masterly handling of the destroyer Cossack."' Three stewards are mentioned in dispatches for their cheerful and rcadv work in caring for the released prisoners.
