The German invasion of Denmark and Norway may result in an early reduction in the size of British newspapers and consequent further rises in advertisement. rates. Practically all present supplies of paper pulp came from Sweden, Norway and Finland, for which reason the British paper-making industry is likely to languish until the invasion is ended or fresh supplies of pulp arc received from other sources.
