A PAPER KNIFE.
Buy an ordinary box-wood ruler, carve it to the shape of a knife and sharpen the cutting edges. Remove all traces of the ruler with glasspapcr, then ornament the handle with a pokerwork design, or with bright-col-oured enamels. An easy little job for a smart boy with some spare minutes
