Tho national Kavings-by-instalmenta movement ia flourishing among the King's employees, records an English correspondent. A special war-time committee of the 14-year-old Royal Household National Savings Association have been formed, representing the interests of every member of the royal staffs, from the highest official at Buckingham Palace to the most junior kitchen worker at Windsor Castle. The Kin;? has provided a sum from the Privy Purse for the initial purchase of a large number of savings certificates. The employees thus receive interest from the day they pav their first instalment. M re than 6000 new savings groups have been formed in the first nine weeks of the war savings campaign, compared with 5000 in the previous 10 years. Defence bonds and savings certificates bought during these nine weeks total nearly £62,000,000.
