A coat cupboard is, of course, a necessity, and this is excellently placed, but the linen press (that much-uscd necessity) is right in the centre of things. And while considering conveniences, please note the position of the lavatory. This ie so placed to give easy acces* to it. through the hath room for the visitor and at night without having to go out across the cold porch, whilst still providing access from that same cold porcli for the weary week-end gardener. This point is often missed, and in quite a few cases is impossible of achievement, but the double access should always be provid d if possible.
