Values for Winter Cole peara fell considerably at the Auckland markets to-day. The market was heavily' supplied with tomatoes both yesterday and to-day, and ■prices have dropped because of. a poor demand. Outdoor urape demand remains about the same, though the inquiry for 'hothouse lines fi-11 away.

Supplies of cabbage were heavy and it was impossible to quit all stocks. Prices for inferior lines were very low. quantities of cauliflowers were available, and good quality fetched pood rates. Potatoes, lettuce and beet were cheap and very plentiful. Beans and peas were also readily available, and the beet sorts made high prices.

Fruit. Prices were:—Apples-: Cox"s Oranjrc, 4' to 5/6 per case; Delicious-, 3 to 40; Jonathan, 3/ to 3/; cookers. 2/ to 3,. ears: Buerre Bosc. 5/6 to 8 per case; Winter Coles. 10; to 13'. Tomatoes: Outdoor, extra choice. 5/ to 6*6 per case; others. l/<$ to 4/; Hlltt, 3 to 4 per case. Tree tomatoes: New Black. 10/ to 12/ per case. Grapes: Te Kauwhata, 10 6 to 14/ per ease; hothouse, Hamburg. 8d to 9d per lb; Coleman. extra choice. 1, 6 to 1/9 per R>; few specials higher values: others, 1/ to 1/4 per lb. Peaches: Golden Queen, 9/0 to 11, 9. Strawberries: Captain Cook. 1/9 to 2/ per chip. Cape jiooseberries: tkl to 8d per lb. Passion fruit: 6/ to 10/ per case. Figs: 3/ to 6/ per case. l'ersimmous: 4/ to 7/ per case. Quinces: 0/ to 11. per bushel case. 0 to 6/6 per threequarter case. Chestnuts: 6d to 7d per lb.

Vegetables. Quotations were: —Beet. 6d to 1/ per dozen: celery, cooking, 1/ to 1/6 per bundle; dessert, 2/ to 2/9; carrots, 1/6 to 2 9 per bap, or 6d to 9d per dozen: cauliflowers. 6/ to 10/6 per sack; cabbages, 1/ to 5, per sack: cucumberw, 2/ to 3/6 per dozen; French beans, 2/ to 3/6 per bag; strinpiess beans, 4/ to 12/6 per bag; preen pens. 5/ to 9 6 per bag; kumaras. l%d to l%d per lb; leeks, 3d to 6d per bundle; lettuce, 1/ to 4/ per caee; marrows, 2,' to 3/6 per wick; melons. 4/ to 7/6 per cwt; onions. 4/ to 5'6 per baft; potatoes, tikei, 6/ to 6/9 per cwt; Ohakune, 4/ to 5/ per bag; Pukekohe, 2/ to 3/3; pumpkins, choice ripe Crown, 7/ to 12/ per cwt; parsnips. 3/6 to 5/ per bag, or 9d to 1/3 per dozen; radish, 6d to 1/ per dozen; rhubarb, 1/6 to 3/ per dozen; spinach, 9d to 1/ per dozen; spring onions, 9d to 1/4 per bundle: swedes, 3/ to 5/ per bas:; turnips. 6d to 9d per dozen; Brussels sprouts, 5d to 8d per lb.

Poultry. At to-day's auctions the supply of poultry was fairly heavy and the demand was medium. The prices paid remain the same. Selling rates were as follow:—Cockerels: Heavy breeds, prime. 5/ to 6/ each; not prime. 2/ to 3. ; light breeds, prime, 2/3 to 3/; not prime. 1' up. Fat hens: Heavy breeds, 2/9 to 3/9: lijflit breeds. 1/6 to 2/. Pullete: Heavy breeds, best. 5/ to "/; s»maller. 2/ up. Drakes: Young, prime, 2/6 to 3/; smaller, 16 up.

Butter and Eggs. Kjrjis.— Hen: First jrrnde. 2/S)% per dozen; B. 2 7%; ('. 2/1%. Duck: First {trade. 2 7%: B. 2 5%: (.'. 2'1%. There was <i rise yesterday in the price of o.tk>. as follows: —A lien and A duck remain the same: B lien and B duck, up Id dozen; C hen and (' duck, up 3*l dozen. Farmers" Butter.—l "2 to 1/4% per lb. Cut Flowers.—-A larger quantity of flowers came forward than has been the case for some week*. Prices generally were quite good. Chrysanthemums increased in supply, but still maintain fair values. Good carnations, iris, jrerbcras were keenly soujilit and in most cases realised high prices.
