Te Atatu.—Mrs. Pijacun presided at the thirteenth birtlulny of Te Atatu Women's Institute wheii five new members were iiominatod. It was stated that Red Cross work lia<l been started and five parcels sent to soldiers abroad. Mrs. Thomas was nominated to the school rominittee and Mesdames fiill and :<T»staffson were elected delegate* to conference. A presentation was given to Mis* Pijacun in appreciation of her work during the past year.
