SUSPENDED.
RADIO FEATURE. "MAN IN THE STREET" NO SESSION YESTERDAY. PRIME MINISTER'S ORDER. (By Telegraph.—Special to 'Star.") WELLINGTON, this day. Radio listener? attached significance to the fact that the "Man-in-thc-Strect" Sunday night feature of the national commercial stations was not heard yesterday, nor was the usual "Social Justice"' session on the air. A report that these feature* had been suspended by direction of the Prinie Minister, the Hon. P. Fraser, was referred this morning to Mr. C. G.
Scrimgeour, controller of the commercial stations and conductor of the ''Man-in-the-Street" session. "I can confirm the fact that these sessions have been suspended on the direction of the Prime Minister," replied Mr. Scrimgeour, '"but ao I am both the controller of the service and responsible for the \Man-in-the-Street' session I can make no comment." Asked if the suspension was likely to be permanent, Mr. Scrimgeour replied that he could not comment further.
