SCANDINAVIAN CLUB.

APPEAL FOR FINLAND. The Scandinavian Club members met on Saturday in their new club rooms in His Majesty's Arcade. Everv liiembo: brought a parcel of clothing or some material to be made up into garments for the homeless and clothesless in Finland. It is the club's intention to have a weeklv sewing evening and to have a box filled with good serviceable clothes, and to hand this over to the Red Cross to send on to Finland. The men of the club gave monetary donations to purchase material for clothing. At a recent social held to entertain some Xorwegian sailors, the boys collected a sum of money amongst themselves, to hand over to the club's Finland fund. Musical items were rendered by the orchestra and choir. Miss Eriksson presided, and supper was served by the committee.
