GOING TO CAMP.

PIPE BAND LEADS PARTY. The ekirl of the pipes attracted the attention of work-bound Aucklanders about 8.30 this morning, when, headed by the St. Andrews Pipe Band, a detachment of 74 men of the Third Echelon marched down Queen Street from the Drill Hall, Rutland Street. Thirty-eix prospective artillery noncommissioned officers and 10 other ranks, who are to do general camp duties prior to mobilisation of the Third Echelon, turned at Customs Street and marched to the railway station, while the remaining 28, who are to perform camp dutiee at Narrow Xeck, proceeded straight to the Ferry Buildings.
