PROGRESS CLUB.
"Sacrifice ae a means to an end" was the title of a epiritual talk given by Mr. F. Gregory at the Higher Thought Centre. The vice-president, Mies I. Rutherford, presided. Mrs. H. Burney gave •recitations and Mrs. J. I. Owen soprano solos accompanied by Mre. W. Angell. Afternoon tea hostesses were Mre. H. M. Bjrchall and Mre. E. M. Drake.
