BRABIN CUP COLT LEADS FOR SEASON.—Although he had a "lucky break" in carrying hi* bat after passing the century, Alan Wiles deserved his signal success in topping the Auckland batting average*. He bore the brunt of the Y.M.C.A. attack in making 110 out of 21S scored by the combined clubs off the bat, while three of H. T. Pearson's men hit up 81, 74 and 69.
