AERO CLUB'S ACTIVITIES. (From Our Correspondent.) CHRISTCHURCH, Sunday. The Canterbury Aero Club hopes to be able to recommence a limited flying service, probably for its trained pilots only, and it is expected that a definite announcement on the subject will be possible in the near future. The secretary of the club, Mr. P. R. Climie, said the taking over of the whole club facilities—machines. ataff and equipment—through the war, had meant that the club was placed in a position where operation* had to cease. The club, however, believed that a «|M>cial effort should lie made to enable those mem hers already able to fly to have facilities a\ailaiih- to keep their hands in. and believed that every effort should Ik- made to kecii the club alive. It would probably I>c necewuiry to limit flying to trained pilot*, said Mr. Climie. but instructional dub flvin» would be nndertakrn if arrangements for thi& could be made.
