FOR IHJURY TO ARM.
RISK OF HANDLING. GLASS
Evidence was concluded to-day in the action Imfore Mr. Justice Blair and a jury in the Supreme Court in which Charles Alfred Knill, leadliaht maker (Mr. Coates) claimed £114 15/2 epecial and £750 general damages in re&pect to an ai'm injury received when empko'ed by Pbillippa and Impey, Ltd. (Mr. Hore and Mr. Weir), in the work of carrying sheets of plate glass. Plaintiff alleged that the work was work to which he. '-was unaccustomed, that, he bad been sept to do it as a rush jdb, and that he had not been supplied with rubber grips for the purpose. The result of such negligence on the. employers' part, he alleged, was that the accident happened through hie grip oii the glase slipping. • For. the. defendant- compajiy, evidence w«,gh'en : by T.
