Chief Officer Injured By
Explosion.
FRENCH CAPTURE HAD SHIP.

LONDON, February 27. The British steamer Clan Morrison (.1930 tons) struck a mine in the North Sea and was Mink. The bridge was blown up, and the chief officer, Mr. Powell, was trapped in the wreckage and badly injured.
The crew vm landed at an ea*t coast port. One Lascar vii killed and 15 injured. .
