OBITUARY.

MADAME S. DE MAUHY. (By Telegraph.—Pr««» AssocUHob.) WELLEfGTOX, Tuesday. The death has occurred of Madame Evelyn de Manny, wife of Mr. Leon de Mauny, of Wellington. Madame de Mauny, formerly Miss Evelyn Kate Harrison, was born in London. She studied at the Guildhall School of Music, London, where ehe became official accompanist and gold medallist. At the Royal Academy of Mueic she wae granted a licentiate. Madame de Mauny arrived in New Zealand in 1923. Her work in duets with her husband and in trios with Mr. de Mauny (violin) and Mr. Claude Tanner ('cello) wae a feature of many concerts during the pa*t 15 years. Besides her hneband, ehe is survived by two sons and one daughter.
