GREY LYNN CLUB.
The pairs tournament at Grey Lynn green was played yesterday, when both of its greens were fully occupied. Sections A and C were won outright by Fergusson (Takapuna) and Dawson (St. Helier's), with live wins; but in section B, Gothard (Takapuna), Johnston <Ponaon)by) and Griffiths (Grey Lynn) each had five wins, and in section D, Fletcher (Ponsonby), Taylor, Boag and Smith (Grey Lynn) .led with four wins each. In the play-off of section ties Griffiths and Taylor eliminated the others. In the semifinals Taylor beat Dawson, and Griffiths beat Fergusson. The final will.be played at an early date.
