NAVY LEAGUE'S PART.
Questiontdw aa to the arrangements being made by the Auckland branch of the Navy League for the entertainment of the officers and men of the Achilles, the chairman of the league, Mr. J. H. Frater, said this morning that the league at the moment had no actual programmed mapped out. The Mayor, Sir Erneßt Davis, would make all arrangements, and if: he desired the league to work with him it would be ready to do so. Probably, the league would be' asked to undertake some work br Sir Ernest in the community effort of entertaining the complement of the Achilles immediately, and later, of course, ii would make its own arrangements in this connection.
