SCHOOL OF MINES. EXAMINATION RESULTS. THAMES AND DISTRICT. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) THAMES, this day. A feature of the annual examinations held in November by the Thames School of Mines was the success gained by N. Lowe, a young Chinese resident of Coromandel, who took a correspondence course, from the school. He is taking the full course this year. Results were as follow:— Fire assaying, junior, N. Lowe, 71 per cent; theoretical chemistry, senior, R. O'Roukc; theoretical chemistry, junior, A. E. O'Meara, 45 per cent; practical chemistry and qualitative analysis, K. O'Rouke, 69 per cent; machine drawing, D. Barker, 49 per cent; F. J. Holman, 76 per cent; S. W. Honcybun, 96 per cent; B. K. Judd, 88 per cent; B. E. Mitchell, 63 per cent; J. E. Phillips, 87 per cent; S. Price, 68 per cent; E. G. Priest, 66 per cent; G. A. Reddish, 55 per cent; E. B. Ross, 45 per cent; M. A. C. Strange, 43 per cent; M. W. Young, 44 per cent; 0. J.
