OLD ISSUE MAY BE USED. BUSINESS MEN'S REQUEST. The twopenny stamps in use before the special Centennial issue. may now be used on receipts on special application being made. An announcement to this effect was nyde to-day by the president of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce, Mr. A. Ely. The new twopenny stamps had been criticised by the business community on account of their size which, .it was stated, made them unwieldy and generally unsuited for receipts. Members of the chamber expressed gratification that the postal authorities 'had complied with the request.
