The crew of a Norwegian ship, arriving at an English port, report that they saw destroyers in the North Sea drop depth charges, after which oil and wreckage, apparently from a U-boat, came lo the surface. The Latvian steamer Kvcrene was torpedoed after leaving <i British port. Tlie crow was saved.
