PLUCKY BOYS.
YACHT CREW RESCUED BRAVERY RECOGNISED. GILT CROSSES AWARDED. (Bjr Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DUNEDIN, this day. In recognition of the rescue of three members of the yacht Harlequin from the harbour off Waverlev, an award has been approved by the Governor-General, Lord Galway, to Gavin Bartlett and Patrick Kcaley, 1 ivyear-old members of the Ander.-on's Bay sea scouts. On November II the Harlequin overturned, her crew consisting of three. She drifted towards the channel and the two boys set out from Waverley and battled against wind and sea in a*small dinghy to the overturned yacht, which had drifted well out to the middle of the harbour. After a struggle the two lads managed to take the crew on board and returned safely to Waverlev. The Governor-General has approved of an,award to Bartlctt and Ilcaley of the. Boy Scouts' Association gilt cross.
