A very deep and extensive depression is centred to the south-east of tho South Island. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. Tho following report of weather conditions In the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, west-south-west; sea, rough; weather, cloudy and showery; visibility, moderate; barometer, low and steady.
