The Government !Yloteoro!ogist Issued to tho "Auckland Star" this afternoon tho following special weather forecast for tho Auckland Province to as far south as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:— Moderate to strong westerly to south-westerly winds. Weathor cloudy and changeable, with showers at times, more especially in the west. Temperatures cooler. Seas rather rough to rough. A very deep and extensive depression is centred to the south-east of tho South Island. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. Tho following report of weather conditions In the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, west-south-west; sea, rough; weather, cloudy and showery; visibility, moderate; barometer, low and steady.
