MONTEREY HERE. SAILING THIS EVENING. ARRIVAL OF GREEK VESSEL. DISCHARGES SULPHUR. Monterey, Matson liner, from San Francisco; via ports, arrived at Auckland at 7.15 o'clock this morning and berthed at King's wharf. She will sail at 10 o'clock to-night for Sydney and Melbourne,/ returning to Auckland on February 5. George M. Embiricoa, Greek steamer from Galveston, Texas, arrived in the stream at 1.30 o'clock this morning. She carries a cargo of sulphur. Built by Short Brothers, Limited, at Sunderland, in 1921, the George M. Embiricos is a veesel of 5728 tons and is registered at Andros, Greece. No arrangements have yet been made for her berth. Waiana leaves Wellington at 6 o'clock this evening and is expected here on Sunday. (U.S.S. Co.). Kartigi is due to leave Xapier tomorrow, and is due at this port on Monday. (U.S.S. Co.). Omana will leave Greymoutli tomorrow and will arrive at Auckland on Tuesday. (U.S.S. Co.). Waimarino will sail from this port to-morrow for Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. (U.S.S. Co.). Sailing for Portland yesterday, Kakapo will return to Auckland on Sunday, and sails on Monday for Wellington. (U.S.S. Co.). The Union Company advises that the Wahine will make a special trip from Lyttelton to Wellington on Sunday morning after the arrival of the 7.35 train from Christchurch. She will leave Wellington on her return trip tt 7.45 o'clock on Sunday night. Rangatira will also run an excursion from Wellington to Picton on Monday, leaving Wellington at 8 a.m. and returning from Picton at 2.30 p.m. Ronaki sailed for Xew Plymouth last night and is due hack at Oiiehunga on Monday morning to load and sail for Raglan, Kawhia and Te Waitere (X.S.S. Co.). Kaitoa is due at Onehiinga to-morrow morning and will sail on Monday for Xelson and bays. (X.S.S. Co.).
