WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government Meteoro'ogist issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland Province to m far south as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:— Moderate easterly winds, freshening at times. Weather cloudy and in places misty, with scattered rain chiefly in the north. Mild temperatures. Seas rathar rough in some exposed positions in the east; elsewhere moderate. Although a slight di3t«irbanco is still located in the extreme north, pressure is uniformly high over the Dominion. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. ! ' The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, east, north-east, fresh; sea, modsrate; weather, cloudy and showery; visibility, moderate: barometer, steady.
