Rennie has been re-elected chairman of the Board of Governors of Canterbury Agricultural College. . Air. F. K. -Hunt, city coroner, left to-ilay for a week's fishing at Rotorua. He was accompanied'by Mrs. Hunt.

Sir Jhmes Sandford, a member of the Legislative Assembly of South Australia, Mr. H. W.. Hodgetts, a member of the Australian Cricket Board of Control, and Jlr. G. McEwin, of Adelaide, arc on a holiday visit to the West Coast of the South Island.
