Mr. Leo du Chateau is visiting Auckland. Mr. Mare T* Greene has left Auckland, en route to the Far East and Europe. The Rev. W. M. Smallfield, vicar of Wanganui parochial district, is visiting Auckland.
Mr. C. R. Bach, physical welfare officer attached to the Internal Affairs Department, is yisiting Auckland. Mr. W. 0. Rennie has been re-elected chairman of the Board of Governors of Canterbury Agricultural College. . Air. F. K. -Hunt, city coroner, left to-ilay for a week's fishing at Rotorua. He was accompanied'by Mrs. Hunt.
Sir Jhmes Sandford, a member of the Legislative Assembly of South Australia, Mr. H. W.. Hodgetts, a member of the Australian Cricket Board of Control, and Jlr. G. McEwin, of Adelaide, arc on a holiday visit to the West Coast of the South Island.
