VETERAN BROWN'S DOUBLE.
At Sturges Park last evening the big event on the programme of the Otahuhu Athletic Club's meeting "was the two-mile run, in which S. J. Wade, Auckland mile and former New Zealand champion, together with 1.. Watters, Auckland three-mile champion, were competing from scratch. Wade, who was suffering from an injured leg, retired after one mile.
