TACHT CLUB'S RACES.
FORTY BOATS COMPETING.
Good entries 'have been received by the Manukau Yacht Club for the harbour races to-onorrow. There are 22 in the general handicap, nine in the launch race and the same number in the Z class race, a total of 40, the record for several seasons. As usual, handicaps will be given at the start of the yacht race, -which atarts on No. 1 course ami finishes on No. 2. The launches go the same course but the Z class start on No. .'I and finish on No 2 course. The following are the .entries and handicaps. Auckland's one hundredth birthday will be celebrated on Monday, January 29, by the tlme-hononred regatta which was established on January 20, 1850, and has been carried out, with one exception—the first year of the Boer War—continuously since 1850. A large number of entries was received to-day from noon till 2 p.m., and they will close at 9 p.m. at the Mission to Seamen's Institute, Sturdee Street.
