Taranaki's contingent «Jf 187 men to Jfa\e to-morrow to go into camp with the second echelon is 37 short of the province's quota, bufc in addition there are 12 men classed a* fit who will leave next week and 40 recruits yet to be examined. The eaif filling of the quota ia now expected.
