PATRIOTIC FUND DONATIONS,

WELLINGTON, Wednesday

Since last week donations to the National Patriotic Fund Board other than contributions of under £5 received through the postal seal campaign have increased by more than £1000. The total now stands at £798 C. The latest list of contributions acknowledged by the board in response to the Governor-General's appeal for funds includes donations of £250 from the South British Insurance Company, Limited, £200 each from Pyne, Gould, Guiness, Limited, the Union Bank of Australia, Limited, the Bank of Australasia, Limited, £100 from James Smith, Limited, £50 from Wardell Brothers, and also some substantial contributions from Individual citizens.
