COUNTIES' ASSOCIATION.
BIRMINGHAM AND MIDLAND.
The Birmingham and Midland Counties' Association held their annual ladies' social and dance last evening, at the Fabian Booms, Lower Queen Stret. Mrs. F. Bowes presided and welcomed the members, friends and visitors. Tlie artists for the evening were Mrs. Ernest Asher, Mm. Lambert, Mrs. Watson, Mr. Jock Finlayson and Mr. Hickling. Prizes were awarded as follows: Monte Carlo, Meedames E. Rogers and Broad bent; passing the stick, Mrs. Irvine; drawing a cow, Mr. Brooks;, statue dancing, Mr. and Mrs. F. Smith. An excellent supper was provided, the hostesses being Mesdames Peareall and Graham. Madame Dunn was pianist, and Mrs. Perkens mistress of ceremonies. Dancing, vocal items and games provided an enjoyable evening.
