SUMMER FROCKING AT ELLERSLIE.

Printed Materials And Wide-Brimmed Hats.

A clear blue sky and bright sunshine attracted a large number of racegoers to Ellerslie to-day when the Auckland Racing Club's summer carnival was continued. The frocking was most attractive, floral designs and stripes making a most colourful effect. Wide-brimmed hats accompanied the ensembles and there were also seen the fashionable and quaint dolls' hats perched at an angle on the wearers' heads. Many of these were trimmed with flowers and veils. Those who preferred tailored styles wore neat linen suits and trim hats in Bangkok or Ballibuntal straws. Among those present were:— Mrs. H. M.
