HAIL AT HAMILTON.

UNSEASONABLE WEATHER.

COLD SNAP -THIS MORNIXG.

(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. Most unseasonable weather was experienced for Christmas, and with the thunderstorm that was experienced at 10 o clock this morning a heavy hailshower fell. J A cqld snap was noticed early, and at 9 a.m. the temperature was down to 68 degrees. The hail was remarkably big, but the fall was not sufficiently heavy to ruin crops or gardens. It was most unusual to see the streets white with hail as cars with camping gear and passengers in summer outfits passed through the town on their way to the beaches.
