Signor Gayda, Signor Mussolini's Press mouthpiece, says: "Italy demands a free outlet from the Mediterranean. h?he recognises British rights, but Italy's vital interests must be respected. She is at present a prison in the Mediterranean in the armed hands of Britain, which holds all the gateways—Gibraltar, the Suez Canal ajid the Dardanelles.
