POSTMEN'S COMPETITION. ROSE BOWL FOR THE WINNER. Good work has been accomplished by the postmen of the Auckland metropolitan area in connection with the sale of health stamps, the total amount raised by this meane being £383 11/6. The sales drive was carried out in the form of a competition for a rose bowl donated for the purpose by Messrs. John Burns and Company, Limited, and recently the deputy-chief postmaster, Mr. A. M. Roeie, presented this trophy to the winner, Postman A. T. Morgan, of the city office, whose sales amounted to £21 14/. Other prizes were won by Postmen S. Wood (Auckland), E. D. Bryant (Onehunga) and F. Baker (Auckland).
