■ TJi 1C Takapuna. Gun Club entertained visiting shoo'ters and their wives and friends at the club's annual Christmas sho°t. Hiere was a large array of prizes. Which Were competed for over a. series of five seven-bird matches. Details are as follows:— First Match.—T. James 1, A. J. Hanigan • . ' l Li " <Js 2 v 3. L-- Bedford 4, H. Gage 5, and A. E. Bartlett 6. ■Secoml Match —L. Bedford 1, L. Lind- ? a - v -• Monteith 3. A. Sommerville 4 L. F. Ramsey 5, and A. E. Bartlett 6. ! Third Match.—R. Hickling 1, L. P Strain 2 A. C. Roberts 3, J. Sinton 4, W. Homles o, and L. F. Ramsey 6. In this match. the ladies present drew the shooters to compete for them, and ucky ones were as follows: Mi??, I. Olsen 1, Mrs. ,U. H. McKay 2, Mrs. O. Good 3, Mrs. C. Olsen 4, Mrs. F. Keene 3, and Mrs. F. Hazard 6. Fourth Match. —A. E. Bartleet 1, T K Smith 2, R. Hickling 3, J. Sirnton 4, E* Monteith 5. and F. Hazard 6. Therfe were three ladies' prizes in this* match and the winners were: Miss Dwiiht 1. Mrs. ,T Maria 2, Mrs. L. J. Henderson 3. Consolation Match.—H. Douglas 1 R H. McKay 2, H. Borchard 3, J. Donnelly 4. A. Murray 5, Ij. J. Henderson 6, J. Heuderson 7. W. A. Sinton 8, F. Keene 9. Mr E. Monteith received his season's aggregate trophy, the Devonport Ferry Cun with the total of 100 points for tire season 1,. .T. Henderson was runner-un with 94 joints. The Takapuna Gun Club is taking part in the Centennnial clay bird shoots at tho. Auckland Cun Club's grounds on January 11, 12 and 1-3.
