ST. ANDREW'S SOCIETY.

CHRISTMAS TREAT. An enjoyable evening was spent ill the Fabian Clubrooms when the St. Andrew's Society held a children's Christmas party. The hall was gaily decorated with multi-coloured balloons and a Christmas tree held the place of honour. The president, Mr. J. I. Shields, occupied the chair, while Mrs. J. I. Shields acted as hostess. Games were played and items were given by Mr. Alan Matthews and the following children:— Douglas Young, Betty Simpson, Alistair Crozier, Barbara Waterworth, Aitken McGowan, David McLaren, Hugh. McLaren, Gwenda McLaren and Don Hunter. Soft drinks, ice cream and gifts from Father Christmas were keenly appreciated by the children.
