CIVIC FAREWELL.

BUIXER SOLDIERS,

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)

WESTPORT, Wednesday. Buller soldiers of the First Echelon home on final leave were rivically farewelled in the Theatre Roval this evening by the Mayor, Mr. J. \\l. Robertson, and citizens. Patriotic speeches were made by the Mayor and the Rev. Corney. Each of the eoldiers was made the recipient of a parcel from the Buller Soldiers Comforts' Committee.

Captain B. Mathewson replied on their behalf.
