The Government Meteorologist \ issued to the "Auckland Star" this ' r afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland i e province to as far south aa Hamilton. Kawhia and Tauranga:— I Light to fresh winds from a westerly j r quarter. Weather dull and humid, with some further rain or drizzle probable. Temperatures mild. Seas ' slight to moderate. ' A series of deep westerly depressions ' } is crossing the South Island, and conditions are also disturbed in the north. I l ; HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather ' conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was I received from Tiritiri Island at noon ■ f to-day:— ' Wind, north-north-west, fresh; sea, ■ moderate; weather, overcast and misty; visibility, fair; barometer, falling. I * Shortly after receiving the above j report from Tiritiri, the wind backed to the south-west, giving promise of . fine weather for the week-end. ' i
