CHILD ASSAULTED.
MAN AND WIFE FINED. (By Telegraph.— I'ross Association.) HOKITIKA, Wednesday. In the Magistrate's Court to-day .John Joseph Coombes was fined £5 and his wife £2 for aggravated assault on a child of eight years, the daughter of the husband.
