Mr. J. Grierson will leave for Wellington bv to-night's Limited express. Mr. H. E. Worsp left for Wellington by this afternoon's express. Mr. B. Allan will be a passenger on the Limited express for Wellington tonight. Dr. T. W. J. Johnson will leave for Wellington by the Limited express this evening. Mr. W. T. Anderton. M.P., returned from Wellington by the Limited express this morning. The Rev. G. W. Blair, of Green Lane, and Mrs. Blair, who have been paying a holiday visit to Great Britain, have returned to Auckland. The Rt. Rev. F. A. Bennett, Bishop of Aotearoa. is touring the Coromandel Peninsula. He will preach at Pukekolie on Sunday and will later visit the Far North. Captain S. R. Banyard, Dominion director of the Church Army, is visiting Wellington, where he will attend a meeting of the Church of England Military Affairs Committee. Sir Xorman Xock, Lord Mayor of Sydnev, who attended the official opening of'the Centennial Exhibition in Wellington yesterday, returned to Auckland by ""the Limited express this morning. Mr. H. F. W. Meikle, Mayor of Devonport, who has been indisposed for the past month, presided at the meeting of the council last night. The council appointed the Mayor and Mr. T. C. Hobbs-Jones as delegates to the next municipal conference in Wellington in March. Mr. Aubrey Mason, superintendent of the Ashburton Hospital, who is on leave in England, is at present a 6urgeon specialist in tjie English Ministry of Health Emergency Medical Service, and is attached to Sector X of the London Area. Mrs. Mason (Dr. Zoe Rutherford) is a radiologist in the same sector.
