SACRED HEART COLLEGE.

INTER-HOUSE RACES AT ORAKEI

The second annual Sacred Heart lnterhouse regatta wa# held yesterday afternoon before a good attendance of pupils and friends. Owing to the rough water In the harbour the races were rowed in the Ornkel Basin. The Michael Foley Memorial Clip was won by Basil House, with Iyenihnn second.

The cup was presented to J. George, Ht.roke of the winning crew, by Mrs. M. Foley. The members of the winning crew weri*:—J. George (stroke), R. McKay, A. Moffat, J. Tola, K. Munroe (col).

The results were:—First heat: Basil beat Pompalller. Second heat: Lenilmn beat Coolahan. Semi-final: Pompalller beat Coolnhan. Final: Basil beat Ijenilian. House Points.—Banil 40, Lenihan 30, Pompulller 20, Coolahan 10.
