AUCKLAND FEDERATION.

HALF YEARLY MEETING.

The second half yearly meeting of the Auckland Federation of Women's Institutes was held in the Milne and Choyce reception rooms this morning. The president of the federation, Mrs. J. H. Blackmore, presided, and welcomed delegates and visitors from the various institutes in the Auckland Province.

The speaker for the morning was Mrs. R McNaughton, who gave a description of the conference of Associated Country, women of the World, which was held in London last June.

The treasurer's report was presented by Mrs. A. W. Jones, acting-ti •easurer, and the balance-sheet was read and adopted. The minutes of the last half yearly meeting were read by the secretary, Mrs. D. A. Stigden.
